id3 Tag renaming w/ multi-rename tool

Post by *unkis17 »

I'm working on getting my id3 tags reworked so they are correct.

I downloaded both Ghisler's id3 tag plugin and audioinfo based on some other threads I read.

Can anyone give a basic walkthough on how to get this done right in the multi-rename tool?

I'm new to custom columns, but I think I got everything working right according to the readme file from audioinfo.

Also is there a plug-in for id3 tags that will go out to the internet and do most the work for you? (kind of like how media monkey does)

Thanks,

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

Is there any way I can do Batch Id3 tag renaming within TC7 itself?

If Not is how can it be done using Custom Columns?

The only way I know how to do it now is to go into Properties (Alt + Enter), Advanced and modify the fields one by one. If I could do it in custom columns that would at least remove the excessive clicking...

Thanks

Florian Heidenreich, who has written the Anytag plugin is also the father of the free Mp3tag utility. It is far more suitable to edit and multi-rename tags than to do it directly in tc. It would be great though, to have this as a tc addon.
Checkout the www.Mp3tag.de homepage for more info.

Currently it's impossible to change content plugins fields using MRT.
Now for changing MP3 tags you can try plugin Media 0.8 beta using Change Attributes dialog.
