Post by *doak »

Hello, is there an option to install total commander silent? I used the search but that's not clearly.

• There is a <INF> sub-dir in <Windows>; possible it be a hidden folder; you can see it by setting :
Configuration menu >> Options >> Display >> tick the box : "Show hidden/system files"; that works also for dirs.
• <Ctrl+PageDown> allows to open SFX-EXE archives (not all…), or archives having unusual extensions…
- This is explained alright in the Help / Tutorial ;)

with [ctrl]+[page down] you open the archive file under your cursor, even if the extension is *.exe.

The install-programm of TC comes as self extracting exe file. So you'll have to press [ctrl]+[page down] to get inside of the package. There you will find the install.inf of TC and there you can (and have to ) make the changes to allow your unattended setup.

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
