TC starts without wincmd.ini use

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

TC starts without wincmd.ini use

Hi. Sometimes when i starts TC 7.0 pb1 the main window is showing without any icons in rooster, no drive icons and without any modified setting from wincmd.ini. I've tired on 5 independent machines with Win XP/2003 OS...

• Please, provide more info, for instance let ckeck :

1. Where is your INI located ? Can be known from Help Menu >> About…

2. Did you try to copy¦move the INI in the TC-dir (when found out) and then add the INI entry :
[Configuration]
UseIniInProgramDir=1
—> Restart TC and see…
- This entry takes precedence on the Registry keys, always.

Yes, please provide more info, no one else has this problem. What is identical on these computers, maybe some background virus scanner preventing TC from reading its files?
