In the Dir Synchronizing tool, it would be nice to be able to exclude (or exclusively include) files with specific extensions from being synchronized (or even compared).
Me, it would make my life so much simpler, for example, when i synchronise my portable player with my music library, to automatically exclude JPGs (album covers), DOCs, etc, from it.
More dramatically: i have encoded most of my CDs in hybrid Wavpack format. It that format, you have 2 files per song: 1 file is lossy, and the other is a correction file which, when loaded together with the first one, allows lossless playback. Unfortunately, they need to be in the same folder for my Windows player (foobar2000) to open both as it should. But when i synchronize my music library with my portable player (x5+rockbox), i'd like to copy only the lossy files. The difference between lossy and correction files lies in the extension, so that's why i desperately need this feature ;-)
Please don't answer me that it is Foobar2000 which should be handling correction files differently, because even besides that, it is still practical to keep all an album's files within the same directory.
