Drop stack and virtual stack

Post by *calon »

drop stack (Path Finder & Ultra Explorer) is helpful when copying/moving multiple files to multiple directories.

though you can create a temporary folder to store the sources, it's better to keep them in drop stack or virtual stack (so you don't have to copy/move the big source files).

or, maybe, what I need is a global "drop stack" utility for windows?

Try to search for "temporary panel". It's pretty same idea and has been discussed few times around here.

There is also RAMCopy plugin which might be used as workaround:

Maybe the thing you're looking for could be RAM disk? With proper tools it could be accessible anywhere.
