save/load user layout scheme

Post by *cheming »

Closing Button bar, adding a seperated tree, disabling command line, then I want to SAVE current layout scheme for loading it later quickly.

:) Hello !

• When you have set these options, copy your <wincmd.ini> in some Temp directory, rename it i.e. <TC_custom.ini>
and move it into the current INIs location (the TC dir is the best, if set so).
- Then restore the original layout - to get the usual INI like before.
- To start with the custom layout, just use :
path…\Totalcmd.exe /I=TC_custom.ini
from another icon on the Desktop, for instance…

This user convenience has been requested several times in the past, as a search of the forum will reveal, but to no avail. Perhaps a third party could come up with something...

I found it is too difficult to use :( and no any effect for ModeView here.
Another, it makes TC run slowly I found.
