Right now I have been using T.C. for 70 minutes exactly.

I knew we had seen the same question before: Since when have you been using Total Commander?. (2006)

My Total Commander license says v3.52 - Windows Commander v3.52/32bit at that time - whenever this may have been. 1998?

My Total Commander license is #121775 and i got it in May 2005

But i have been using it since end 1995/begin 1996. I still have my 3.5" disk with Windows Commander 2.0 which i made back then (and with shame i have to say a downloaded key).

Found Windows Commander when i had a new computer which had windows95. Norton Commander did not show the long filenames, so i had to find a new file management program. After some searching i found Windows Commander and i have been using it ever since.

And i still have a hard time doing file management without WC/TC. I always have my USB stick with me, i feel crippled when i have to use Windows Explorer.

Yes, it is certainly not the first time this topic has been brought up.

LOL. To me maybe more than eight hours ago, so I'm ahead of you karlchen.. :)
You're right about the year. I started with WC32_352, according to my archive of 1998.
Still using it as shareware then. The license came much later, turned into TC in the meantime, due to the M$ mob..

2 Henrie - cracked key - indeed shame on you .. But WC 2.0 is very early indeed. Interesting.
Maybe reason for an archive database of the several versions.
In those days there was a serious discussion whether WC should pass the 3.5" disk filesize with a new version..

Well, when version 1.30e was distributed it only took up 523 kB and that even included a zipped version of wcmd 1.23e of 222 Kb http://madsenworld.dk/tcmd/wc130e.png

Version 1.51 from feb. 26th 1995 already takes up 502 KB by itself though. But that also included both English and German version.

TC v2.06 and upgrade for 2.11:) Win3.11. I don't remember the year, but I think "1994 - 1999" is the right vote:)

I've used TC for every long. I've even used NC (Norton Commander), before TC. So when TC came available, I used it as a replacement of NC.

I've registered TC just a few weeks ago :P
