ignorelist is ignored in standalone sync tool
Ignorelist is ignored in the TC standalone sync tool which can be opened by parameters. ("/S=S")
If I synchronize some folders with the standalone tool also the ignored folders from the ignorelist are showed. If I synchronize with the modal tool, this doesn't happens.

Which external sync tool? How do you start it? Is there any way to let it know about ignore list?
I assume that TC sends only the paths of compared folders (as parameters) to other tools and that is why you have "ignored list" ignored

It's hard to say it's a bug. It can be treated as one is some cases in others - not. I would rather like to have one more parameter for loading sync with ignore list enabled (/S=SI?).Samuel wrote:Corrected it above...

I also didnt know if I should use bug or suggestion for this.
I decided bug, because the standalone sync tool is likely to replace the modal sync tool. So it should be the same behavior between them.

Indeed the standalone sync tool doesn't currently support the ignore list. I will consider to support it in a future version. What do other users think?
The problem is that the ignore list cannot be changed in the standalone sync tool...

Is it so difficult to use the same settings for this external sync tool?
Do you plan to make the "nonmodal" version more useable this way?
Ignorelist and left right "Path-Parameters" would be sufficient IMO.
TabHeader and OverrideDPI would be great.

Yes, because there are 100s of options to be loaded. But if you tell me which are missing, I can try to load them also for this tool.Is it so difficult to use the same settings for this external sync tool?

The "Ignore 1 hour time delay" option is also missing, which means that I cannot use the standalone sync tool at the moment.ghisler(Author) wrote:But if you tell me which are missing, I can try to load them also for this tool.
Code: Select all
1hourdif=1

Fixed in Beta3:
- Ignorelist
- TabHeader
- OverrideDPI
Big big thanks especially for ignorelist.
Dont know the status of: (couldnt test)
- 1hourdif
Would be perfect to support left an right path parameters or even support an command like cm_FileSync or cm_externalFileSync like suggested here:
- Ignorelist
- TabHeader
- OverrideDPI
