[Bug ?] Invert selection file under the cursor

Post by *prog_san »

Noticed a strange feature - while walking on an open list disk using the cursor keys with pressing Shift happening invert selection file under the cursor in the current active panel. I think the bug.

Do you mean as "inverting" that all files are selected except currently focused one.

Or toggling selection ON/OFF (selected file is going to lose selection, not selected - gain)?

In second case: it's standard TC behaviour.

Press Alt+F1, then press Shift+Down/Up Arrow several times and look at the file under cursor :)

Seems to be as it is intended for me. Can not see any strange behavior.

Indeed shift+up/down will select files, similar to the Explorer.

You're right. I can confirm this issue now*. It seems that arrow press is used in combo-box correctly BUT Shift is passed to file panel. It's definitely bug.

*) I've just misunderstood "list disk" term.

Ok, it inverts current file under cursor - normal behaviour. But it also inverts the selection of all odd files covered by drive list (please check it if you have several drives).

Only focused file selection is toggling here. The rest stay without changes.

Sorry, my mistake. I meant that selection of the file under cursor is splashes during walking onto drive list with Shift+Down or Shift+Up arrow keys.
The interesting note: if to move on drive list with Shift+Left or Shift+Right, it doesn't invert anything.

If you press Alt+F1 Directory list and press shift up and down in this list, then the file in active pane gets selected and deselected.
