Manually choose update path

Post by *Lefteous »

When updating an existing TC version TC cannot always find an existing installation - e.g. when ini isn't located in one of the standard locations or isn't stored in the registry.
It would be nice if there would be a way to select just the target path and then install the update.

It is easy to manually TC update. Just extract all files (maybe excluding 'DEFAULT.BAR') from CAB-file inside installer (w\o subfolders) and subfolder 'LANGUAGE' into your TC installation, then put into it files from folder 'd' or 'e' of CAB - help files.

That's what I currently do in such cases and I think letting the installer perform all this would be easier.

Just click on "Normal installation" and choose or type the target path manually.

Well that means I have to perform all other choices as well. I don't want to.

You crack me up!
chmod a+x /bin/laden -- Allows anyone the permission to execute /bin/laden

How do I un-overwrite all my data?
