Black background in thumbnail mode

Post by *roentgen »

This is reproduced with usual color settings of TC (empty ini).

Steps:

1. Ctrl+Shift+F1 to activate thumbnail mode.
2. Switch to vertical view (cm_VerticalPanels)
3. Switch to normal view (cm_VerticalPanels again)
4. Scroll down one page in the file list. Result: the background is black.

F2 or Alt+Tab fixes it.

Tested in Vista x86 and Win 7.

Hi, roentgen.

I have not got Windows 7. So I cannot give any valid statement on thumbnail view on T.C. 7.50pb3 and Windows 7.

Yet, I tend to assume that "thumbnail view on T.C. 7.50pb3 and Windows 7" may be closely related to these two threads:

+ No background in Thumbnails mode

+ TC7.50pb2: Hintergrundfarbe bei Miniaturansicht ... (German thread: Background color in thumbail view)

Kind regards,
Karl

chmod a+x /bin/laden -- Allows anyone the permission to execute /bin/laden

How do I un-overwrite all my data?

If I (under Win XP) go into System Properties -> Advanced -> Performance -> Settings -> and enable: "Smooth-scroll list boxes" I can confirm the bug.

I don't even have to toggle cm_VerticalPanels - I can just scroll with the scroll-wheel to make it happen.

This is not the first time "Smooth-scroll list boxes" has caused trouble in TC (and other places).

Good catch indeed. It's no wonder I could not reproduce it in a 2003 server over RDP ;)

I will try to reproduce it on Vista. I will certainly NOT enable that stupid smooth scrolling on my main machine...

The true fact that it looks and behaves bad in TC doesn't make it stupid. In explorer it's actually usefull.

Of course, I'm talking about Vista or Win7, XP still has Win 9x style effects ;)

I could confirm it with smooth scrolling, and managed to fix it for the next beta.
