Drag&Drop on path bar from ext. window not working

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Drag&Drop on path bar from ext. window not working

Post by *donner »

(TC7.5b4)

While dropping files onto the breadcrum path bar works for files that have been dragged from inside TC, it does not work for files dragged from an external window (like Windows Explorer or an E-mail client.)

This seems not to be consistent.

It's not a bug, it's a non-realized feature.

I would expect, that drag&drop behaves the same, no matter if I start to drag the file from inside TC or from outside.

So maybe for you it is an unrealized feature - for me it is a bug or at least inconsistent behavior.

Indeed this isn't currently supported, sorry. You get the same problem with OLE drag&drop inside of TC: Hold down shift, then start dragging with RIGHT mouse button. Drag&Drop from outside of TC is also OLE drag&drop.
