Shortcut not working without lnkfile key

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

1. Please use a more meaningful title than "Bug in TC" - this IS the bugs forum, you know? I have changed the title to "Shortcut not working without lnkfile key"

2. This is a Windows bug, not a Total Commander bug. When "lnkfile" is missing, the functions ShellExecute and ShellExecuteEx both fail to launch lnk files. It seems that someone at Microsoft wrote a workaround for Explorer, but forgot to fix these functions too...
