I'd suggest an extra option for total commander for the following situation:
When you extract files from a hard drive to a slower pen drive directly (i tried RAR) the process is much slower than if you extract the files to the hard drive and copy the extracted files from there to the pen drive.
So I'd suggest an option to extract and copy files indirectly (thru. a temp dir). (and maybe en extra option to enable the above one if the files are between certain preset size constraints).
