TC7.5PB7 doesn't ask password for show content in RAR-files

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Hi,

When I try open an encrypted RAR-file in e.g. WinRAR, you've to type the password to show the content. When I open the same RAR-file in Total Commander, it don't ask the password for show content indeed it seems clear

I can repeat that. Is it possible that the rar handling code is old? When I use free unrar from the command line (for which there is a source) the same files are opened correctly.

Probably the cause and the solution:
RAR archives where the file names are encrypted

Currently this isn't planned. It would be a pain during searching, and it's probably also the intention of the archive creator that the names are not visible (for security reasons) except when the files are being unpacked.
