The list of files - results of search is dumped. It occurs if:
1. Search of files
2. Pressing Feed to listbox
3. The choice of a set of columns brief or full - is dumped

3a. Comments-> full - it is not dumped
3b. Comments-> full-> brief - it is dumped
3c. comments-> brief - it is dumped
3d. After choice Thumbnail view (or custom columns) - it is not dumped in any combination

You mean that TC is returning to normal view when you choose "brief" or "full" view? Yes, it has always been like this, and it's by design.

Also 3a-d is by design, it should give the user the chance to see the comment, thumbnails or also content plugins (custom columns view) while in a search result. This was added already in TC 7.

I tried to choose brief, full, comments, thumbs, custom view in different order and search results are kept in the window until I refresh window. Or I didn't understand the matter?

Going from "feed to listbox" directly to brief or full view will turn off the search results.

Yeah prolly.

Though it is odd behaviour, if you go to Thumbnails or any Custom Column, then the "Search Result:" wont be ended by activating Brief Mode.
Could consider it an easy way to end the Search Result.

I'm sure though, I used to Duplicate a "Search Result:" Tab, and then "Go Back" to get the "Search Result" Tab back to its starting Folder... that doesn't seem to work now. It winds up in one of the other path's history...
