Last tcmd7.5RC2 download is corrupted

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Please specify URL from which you'd downloaded it. I downloaded it today from http://www.techspot.com/downloads/3594-total-commander-beta.html and all is fine (MD5 matches and archive isn't corrupted).

In fact I'm on a Vista64 OS, may be it's the problem ? Is this a 64b exe version ?

No but it should run anyway.
Is there an error message?

Or what leads you to the assumption it is corrupted?
Does the installation work?
What behavior is unexpected?

Installer is a 32-bit executable. But 64-bit OS supports 32-bit executables w/o any trouble.
Please check your tcm75rc2.exe's MD5 and compare it with MD5 of original file here: http://www.ghisler.com/750rc2.htm
If your MD5 differs, redownload the file.

To check MD5 within TC place cursor onto a file, go to File - Create CRC Checksums, check MD5 box and TC will create text file with MD5 of your file.

Ok thanks everybody. In fact my downloaded file size was wrong each time (2.5Mb instead of 3Mb) when I download from Chrome. I downloaded it with something like flashGet and it's fine now.

Thank you

It's very strange: I try from all server: Techspot, Betanews, Straightvisions and Amazon S3. I try to download from Chrome, Firefox & IE the Amazon version, each time the download stops at 2.5Mb. I try also from Vista 64b and a XP 32b.

It only works if I download with FlashGet in my case.

btw: the 7.04a download works normally and previous versions as well.

sebounet,
Are you perhaps using a proxy server?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.
