In virtual panel TC doesn't show 'File' for 'tc.file type'

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

In virtual panel TC doesn't show 'File' for 'tc.file type'

Post by *MVV »

As I see, TC shows for objects in virtual panel field values as for target objects - e.g. 'folder' for link to directory, 'reparse point' for links to reparse points, 'file' for links to regular files. But in 7.55b1 in compare to 7.50a TC doesn't show 'file' for links to regular files (no value in column).

Sorry, content plugins cannot be used within file system plugins. However, fs plugins can implement their own content plugins.

But TC supports content fields for virtual panels - and it's great! :)

Oops, sorry, I don't know why but now TC 7.55b1 shows 'file' for file links in virtual panel... :?
