Difficulties to access a ftp server

I use TC to connect to ftp-server. If I’m at work I have also to use a proxy server.

But it doesn’t work with TC 7.55 beta. I always got an error message: MLSD 425 No data connection.

So I had to switch back to TC 7.50. With the old version I doesn’t have any problems. The connection was done properly.

It seems to be only a particular server which denies the connection. Another one give me perfect access without any problems using 7.55. So an influence of the companies’ virus scanner can be excluded.

What could be the reason?

You can turn off MLSD in Ctrl+F - Edit connection. It sounds like your ftp server doesn't correctly implement it.

Until now I didn't realize this new option I can check.

OK, I will add some code which switches back to LIST if it gets error 425.
