Temporary File Warning When Browsing Compressed Archive

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Temporary File Warning When Browsing Compressed Archive

Post by *park896 »

When the browser has a compressed archive open I received a warning that temporary files would not be deleted bc the application used to open them was still open. In fact the application was total commander itself. To clear the warning I browsed back to root C drive. If this doesnt reproduce, I had extracted files from the archive (the openssl tarball) to a directory on my C drive.

This is indeed intentional - otherwise the temporary archive would remain in the TEMP directory. TC cannot simply delete it because it may have been changed by the user...
