TC Crash - hex search

Hi

I have tested this on TC 7.50a (on Win2K) and TC 7.55pb3 (on Win server 2003 R2) and the behavior is the same.

1. Open any file in the Lister (text or binary).
2. Switch to Hex display mode.
3. Open the Lister search dialog.
4. Type the following string to be searched.

20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20 20

5. Check the Search hex string checkbox.
6. Click OK.

Can any one confirm this?

Confirmed here too, even for a one " 20" less.

I too confirm the bug in pb3 and its fix (tested in rc2).
