Remove cmputers list in \\Network\

Post by *HAL 9000 »

Hi all.

I have installed version 7.55 and I notice that in plugin panel appear all computers name from network. Also appear element 'Refresh' to update list.

I suspect it appear in 7.55, in early versions there was 'entire network' element.

How I can move (remove) all computers name? I don't need plugins and computers list together (even computers list is in the end).

It seems that you have Windows 7 installed (recently?). In Windows 7 all computers appear just under Network Neighborough in contrast to earlier Windows versions where computers were in groups.

MVV, thanks for fast response. Yes, I have Windows 7 installed and I understand that TC use windows network management for display computers.
Is it possible to separate computers and plugins? Or remove network support for TC?

Mal angenommen, du drückst Strg+F, wählst die FTP-Verbindung (mit gespeichertem Passwort), klickst aber nicht auf Verbinden, sondern fällst tot um.

I think separate root for file-system plugins (like \\\) would be better.

Maybe this can help too. Similar to the solution offered by sob.

Button bar code:

Code: Select all

TOTALCMD#BAR#DATA
cd ::{208D2C60-3AEA-1069-A2D7-08002B30309D}

shell32.dll,17
Lugares de red (Win7)

I can read English, but... I write like Tarzan. (sorry)

I try to create shortcut with this text, but nothing works.

So, I load windows XP and create shortcut for My Network Places - this shortcut hasn't any readable text (104 bytes).
Then I create command 'em_go_network' with description ' cd "D:\My Network Places.lnk" ', and create buttonbar button with this command.

This button open new tab with computers list. Also there is "Entire Network" element to view groups.

UPD:

Button with this command works same as 'cd "D:\My Network Places.lnk" '. So not necessarily to create lnk file.
