disturbing gui bug in file comparison tool

while comparing 2 files with the integrated file comparison tool, i use an external editor to modify the files.

when i focus back to the file compare tool to find the next difference, a message pops up, asking if the files should be recompared because of the changes i made.

if i select yes, the files get refreshed. that's okay.

my problem is now, that the focus of the window gets messed up. if i try to set the cursor into either left or right file child area (or somewhere else in the window like the scroll bars) the program shows a strange behaviour, scrolling around, or selecting some lines, clicking on the scroll bar selects a line, selects on the left side, even if i click into the right file... and then i have to click a second time into this child area to fix this error.

then the same goes on, i edit the files externally (... synax highlight is not available directly at the file compare tool) and save them, i again get the message and have this strange bug... fix it, edit a file, get the message, error... and so on.

this is very disturbing when synchronizing large source codes...
