lost admin rights after pausing a background file copy

Post by *kokkoras »

I was background copying a few large files. In the begining of the procedure, Commander had asked for admin rights to do the task (due to some rights restrictions on the target USB drive).

At some point I had to pause the copying task. So far so good. When I asked to continue, Commander responded with "no permission to access the files that were copied earlier".

It looks like Commander forgot my initial selection to do the task "As Administrator".

I am using 7.56a on Win7/En/64bit

I cannot decide if it is a bug or just due to this setting key
TC Help wrote:AdminTimeout=180
Determines after how many seconds of inactivity tcmadmin.exe (used for copy/delete etc. as admin) is terminated. Special values:
0: no timeout
-1: disable copy as admin completely
the default value is 180 seconds, try to set it to 0 or longer period and see if this help.
