Interesting, I didn't notice it because it unpacks so quickly here. I will try to reproduce it.

Actually, I didn't see exactly what it was, but just noticed that the progress bar had longer text than usual. After trying to catch a screenshot (fruitfully) I had to start video recording and get frames from the record.

As far as I can tell the 64-bit installer progress bar displays garbage problem can be considered solved.

Server 2008 R2, 64-bit, ENU, classic theme
Total Commander 8.0 beta2 64-bit

Thanks! Btw, it was caused by another Lazarus bug/incompatibility with Delphi.
