Solved [8.0b2 x64] ? in stead of non-ascii characters in some menus

A ? is show in stead of non-ascii characters like æøå öß in some menus - for example Lister (not top menu - only down-folded menu) and the menu for picking fields for content-plugins.

Testet with Danish and German language file.

Well, I don't use cyrillic so I didn't look at that report - I guess I should have done so.

Anyway - I clarified that it also happens in the content-plugin menus - and I am using a Luna theme - so it is not just an Aero or Basic Theme problem, but probably a non-classic theme problem.

Hm… In XP x64 with Luna theme I cannot reproduce this issue.

It is a third party Luna theme - so maybe that's why. Win 7 doesn't have a native Luna theme.

I see. Maybe it's not the theme itself, but general themization engine in Win7 that causes the problem.

It's the same problem, I get it with English too. Apparently I added it when fixing some other problem with the menu (duplicate hotkeys shown, both English and translated, in Lister beta 1).

This also applies to the right-click menu in the Synchronize tool.

Confirmed fixed in TC 8.0b3 for Custom colums menu, Liter menu and Sync right-click menu
