ePub viewer

Does anybody know of a plugin that can view epub files? I have a collection of ebooks that I would like to be able to read via TC as well.

Amazon? You mean Kindle for PC? I thought they were not into epub books?

For local reading of ebooks I already use Calibre but I would like to be able to view them in TC as well.

Yes I mean the Kindle Software from Amazon for PC.
It depens what type you have if its an EPUB that is ONLY a zipfile
with Pictures and HTML files in it so you can enter them with TC
and read the HTML-Pages by pressing F3.

Otherwise the answer is yet no.

With some unpacking MultiLister should be able to handle it.

The only possibility I can see is to find an EPUB plugin for Internet Explorer, and then use the ieview plugin to view the files within Total Commander (Ctrl+Q, F3).

having "calibre" installed, "ebook-convert.exe" can be used with
MultiLister.

Code: Select all

ebook-convert book.epub book.txt/rtf
is not fast..
