Works fine here.

I'm currently using TC 7.56a on WinXP (32-bit), but I never had problems with TC 7.50 or 7.55 as well.

Which versions are you using (operating system, TC) ?

Are there special characters you are searching for ?

Hi, there!
Trying to tape file name. The taping (cursor) immediately jumps to command line. After I push ENTER the directory opens in a new explorer window. Check mark removed from Show Command Line in Options, but Command Line popups.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi. By default, you have to press CTRL+ALT+letters to use a quick search. If you want to change it, go to Configuration->Options...->Quick Search and choose some other combination.
