Background Transfer Manager fails with USB port connection

Post by *Flint »

1. Start the USB connection between two computers.
2. On a client select one or more files on the remote side, open BTM dialog, click [+] and select "Add selected items for downloading". Confirm the target path.
3. TC shows the error message with strange paths, like following:
Error: Cannot read e:\Temp\port://usb/C:/Temp/test.txt!
(E:\Temp\ in my case is the local target path, C:\Temp\test.txt is the remote file I tried to download).

Uploading does not work either, though the error message in this case contains a different "path", like e:\Temp\put:e:\Temp\test.txt.

This function is currently limited to FTP. Since the USB connection shares the FTP functions, the option to add to queue seem to be present by mistake.

I confirm that in β24 there are no BTM menu items for adding files for background transferring via USB.
