Includes MultiArch addons for UPX version 1.24 and 1.90beta instructions and screenshots how to setup two buttons to compress and decompress files with UPX (alternative way to Multiarch) This solution uses lst2str Tool already mentioned in this forum or anyway available in MaxWish site under the Tools section (http://members.lycos.co.uk/maxwish/tc_tools.html) two icons useful for that buttons.
Can you make a pack with everything included (upx, multiarc and your addons) ?
Just to be sure to have latest and compatibles versions of all required software

Hi fabiochelly,
I added also UPX distributions in the UPX4TC archive posted in this thread, so as to have an unique package with everything needed to make it run.

Just tested the upx compression for exe's, for example:
before -> thebat.exe ~4.75mb || memory: ~7mb once loaded
after -> thebat.exe ~1.7mb || memory: ~9mb --//--
So it takes more memory, tested with other executable with similar results.
The memory used is actually virtual memory because the EXE is mapped into memory and the unpacked version too. It doesn't mean that it takes that much memory all the time.
If that program is the one I'm curently using (it's in foreground) doesn't that mean that the memory is actual memory not the virtual? Besides, the win. task manager shows that memory as real mem. usage rather than virtual size.
Otherwise it is said (also upx forum), that the big office exes work if they are packed with Aspack, maybe s.o. wants to develop a multiarc addon for Aspack.
Exes loaded in memory might be better compressed using DIET.
