TC 8.01rc2 Win7x64 when using shortcut from previous version

Post by *Ankha »

Hi,

OS: Win7 x64

I had the bersion 7.56a previously installed. I had assigned the ALT-D shortcut to the cm_EditPath command

I installed the 8.01rc2 version over it.

I launch the new version for the first time ("As Administrator"). I use the shortcut, and have the following error:
---------------------------
Total Commander 8.01rc2
---------------------------
Access violation.
Access violation
Windows 7 SP1 6.1 (Build 7601)

Once I continue the execution, all shortcuts seem inactive.

If I restart TC and assign a new shortcut to that command, I have the error again.

OK, I think that's enough stack traces for now ;). Note that Version 8.0 (32 and 64 Bit) is working fine.

As the original thread, [TC 8.01rc2 x32] Edit path with hotkey (Access violation), has been moved to the "Fixed Bugs" sub-forum, this thread can be moved there as well. After all it is a duplicate.

Tested on
+ Total Commander 8.01 RC3 32-bit
+ Ubuntu 10.04 Gnome Desktop 32-bit / Wine 1.2.3 (Windows XP mode)
