Hidden Context Menu for 64-bit Programs

Post by *NewUser »

Instead of listing explicitly the context menu items for 64-bit programs, Total Commander has just a single item "x64". It is not even apparent that this item opens a second-level menu listing the context menu for 64-bit programs, such as for example, "Monitor with Comodo Programs Manager (CPM)"

The fix:
The best alternative:
List all the context menu items for 64-bit applications explicitlly, like Windows 7, in a separate pane, instead of having the "x64" item.
or
Less desirable alternative:
at least indicate that an additional dialog box will open by replacing it with "x64 ..."
and
precede the list of the context menu for 32-bit programs with "x32", before the first context menu entry for these programs.

Why don't you use the x64 version of TC ?
Then you would not complain about an entry wich is no problem for most users
Also it is very apparent that the x64 item opens a second-level menu
as it is shown as such !
