+Wrong size calculation for TGZ archive

Post by *MrCricket »

8.50b2 32b, clean INI

1) create dir with 2 files of 600M
2) add that dir to TGZ archive
3) warning about exceeding 2G limit is displayed

Retraced on second computer (clean installation).

Probably the reason is the files contain only about 1M of real data (created with SetFilePtr)

Zipped dir with files (3MB): https://www.dropbox.com/s/rxel4r3wt1pjtx6/w.zip

Ah, now I found it! There are two different cases. Here is what I did:

1. Unpacked the two files to a new directory
2a. Tried to pack the two files with Alt+F5, chose .tgz -> OK
2b. Tried to pack the directory with Alt+F5, chose .tgz -> 2GB warning
