Multithreaded archive operations

With today's fast interconnects and drives it seems that Total Commander's single-threaded (un)packer operations, like un-raring became a bottleneck. I wondered why TC doesn't saturate the bandwidth of my DAS-box until I realized the decompression happens on one virtual HT-core of my 2-core mobile i5 only, thus maxing out at 25% of CPU's capabilities. Multithreaded archive operations would be super-cool.

Unfortunately unrar.dll (from original RAR author) doesn't seem to be multi-threaded.
