how can i change where store the ini files in 8.01?

how can i change where store the ini files in 8.01?

Hi

i have installed 8.01
now i would like to have the settings wincmd.ini & wcx_ftp.ini (i think they are the only ini files created by total commander , in the installation folder

how can i do?
in the preferences there is nothing

i remember in the older version i could do it without re-installing them

You can try inireloc.
Also there is a special wincmd.ini key that makes TC using wincmd.ini/wcxftp.ini in its folder:

For TC itself: yes.
wincmd.ini
wcx_ftp.ini

(There may be a 'usercmd.ini' too if you have created them yourself)


Additionally there may be ini files for some plugins too.
Where their location is, depends on plugin developer, normally in plugin folder or in TC main folder.

just for the record the tool inireloc seems not working with 64bit last version

just convinced a friend of mine to buy total commander and he wanted to have portable too few days ago
i have suggested that tool , i have saved on my total commader folder
and 8.54 is a new version so...
love Total Commander , best file manager ever made
