TC 8.51a: multi rename tool: bug in history function?

Post by *sheppaul »

a Bug in multi rename tool (history)

http://imgbox.com/vFO8Ohvv

History item is not correctly applied with the following steps in multi rename tool

refer to the above link for the steps. I've recorded it.

1. call multi rename tool
2. input "vol" -> "alt+down arrow" to call history item from drop down menu.
3. select "Volume [C:2]" from the list then input "enter"

4. There should be change of new filenames but it is not applied.

I can confirm it too - it seems that Windows doesn't fire the "item changed" event for some reason...

I've noticed this too. Have screenshots.
A similar thing happens with the attributes, date & time changer spinners - but that's a different topic.
I'll try to establish a definitive description and set up another report.
..sometimes when you alternate between spinners, keyboard and arrow keys, the date/time change doesn't 'take'.
