I don't want you to switch, just to check if it also crashes with this plugin. (Then it should be TCs "fault") Copying the plugin to TCs folder should work.

Hello Christian,

With 8.52 Beta I also have the issue. Very strange.
I don't know if this a bug in tcmatch, tc or Windows 10.
It is difficult to sort out.

John
Just deinstall QSx and check if TC still crashes:
To uninstall “QuickSearch eXtended” remove “tcmatch*.*” from your Total Commander folder.

This confuses me. I thought you got an exception earlier. So TC only hangs? Perhaps you could try some diagnostics tool like:

I have removed QSx from the Total Commander folder and used the internal QS from TC and it doesn't crash. TC's QS is enough for my needs. I didn't know TC's QS could do the "filtering" of files I search and that is what I was using it for.
I think the plugin lets TC crash.

Can it be always on top (pinned)? If the quick search panel would be positioned we can put it where we don't have any buttons and always reach much easier and faster without having pressing the hotkey or button.

Currently not planned. Would need to make the window moveable too.
Someone via email wrote:The russian translation has some issues. It uses some racist word. In the string "Использовать PinYin (для китаёзиков)" you can see word "для китаёзиков". "Китаёзы" is a racist word for "chinese people".
My Answer via email wrote:Could you propose a better translation? Otherwise I would remove the text behind PinYin.
Someone via email wrote:Well, "для китайского языка" exactly mean "for chinese language". He (they?) translated "for korean language" correctly.
I am a little bit confused by the answer.
Could some russian user confirm:
a) that "для китаёзиков" is a racist expression or is it a wrong translation?
b) that "Использовать PinYin (для китайского языка)" is the best / a better / a good translation for "Use PinYin (for Chinese users)"
c) all users: are other translation updates needed?

It is used in that context, it is certainly an offence.

tuongtrante1 wrote:Anyone knows a good Regex lib for C++?
Well, if you can use C++11 and above, use std::regex. It has it's limitations though.
Other than that, PCRE is probably the most powerful and common one, but you need to deal with compiling a library first.
If you just want a compact single module lib, take a look at DEELX (development seems to have stopped)

TC plugins: PCREsearch and RegXtract

Have a look into "tcmatch.ahk" of the source linked in first post.
