Option to select filename only when adding to archive.

Post by *avada »

Hi!

I think it would be more practical if only the filename (without) extension would be selected.
Right now all of it is selected. eg: 7z:something.7z

You can toggle the selection using F5 key. You can even open the pack dialog using Alt+F5 and press it again to toggle the selection immediately.

Cool. Can I set what is selected by default? I can for file renaming, but didn't find a setting for this. I really think the default selection is impractical.

Not that I know of.

It depends on how you use the packer dialog. If you switch between different packers (or even pseudo-packers) often you can do so by typing the packer's name first. If you don't switch the packer often but need to change the archive's file name, it's indeed impractical.
