Tooltip "Edit(Notepad)" might be misleading

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Tooltip "Edit(Notepad)" might be misleading

When a different program is assigned for editing, the tooltip in the vertical toolbar would be incorrect.

You can write your own tooltip :-)
It's impossible to lead us astray for we don't care even to choose the way.

I think that's because notepad.exe is default text editor. I agree that hint for em_Edit should be improved.

That button command is "cm_Edit"
which in turn use the Editor, entered into "Config > Edit/View > Editor for F4"

That tooltip of the "cm_Edit" command says always "Edit(Notepad)",
regardless of what you have entered into "Config > Edit/View > Editor for F4"

So that "Notepad" part of "Edit(Notepad)" seems to be wrong.
Especially because there are many F4 wrapper out there.

The default is notepad - the user will know himself when he has chosen a different editor. :)

So that user who is smart enough to assign different editor for F4 key, still needs reminders that the default in Windows is Notepad? :P

Why not to use one of the following static tooltips?
Editor
Editor (F4)
Editor (Default)

Or check if Editor for F4 is empty and choose between Editor (Notepad) and Editor.

That would be correct if TC always used the selected editor. But it does not. cm_ConfigChangeIniFiles always uses Notepad no matter what editor is selected, therefore when user sees "Edit (Notepad)" (s)he might think this command will also use only Notepad instead of configured editor.
