It is a new feature, in Help it says in What's new in this version:

- Rubber band selection mode when using left mouse button selection, disable via settings

In [Configuration] section of wincmd.ini, there must be this key:

Code: Select all

UseRubberBandSelection=1

This mean that you can use rubber band selection in left mouse button selection mode (drag rectangle to select)

You have to enable these two settings:

Configurations -> Options -> Operation -> Mouse selection mode:

Left mouse button (Windows standard) AND Rubber band selection.

Unfortunately it dosen't work with the "Use right mouse button (as in NC)"

Rubber band selection is enabled by default when you use the left mouse button selection mode. You don't need to set UseRubberBandSelection=1 manually.
