Double click on divider in Compare by Contents

Post by *Dalai »

Hey there,

now it has been bugging me long enough, time for a new feature request. In TC's main window it's possible to double click on the divider to reset the panels to 50% width. I'd really like to see the same feature in Compare by Contents window. Double clicking on the divider just doesn't do anything (apart from showing the percentage).

It would be even better to support the same context menu as in TC's main window when right clicking the divider to choose from a list of window widths/percentages.

Please bring this feature to TC9 :).

Regards

I will check whether it can be done. Btw, just hold down Shift while dragging the separator to snap it to 50% (and also 75% and 25%).

Hm, nice tip regarding Shift, it will be easier to set it to 50% with it. However double-click would be appreciated.

Ah, thanks, that's a great help for by work! However, it seems that's another feature that is so well hidden that nobody has discovered it...

Unfortunately this hasn't been added to TC9.

Unfortunately I couldn't make it work, sorry. Have you tried my suggestion with Shift+Drag?

That's indeed unfortunate.

Yes, that works fine. I was just hoping for a more convenient way...
