How to set color for dir/folder items?

Post by *jb52 »

New on this forum and new with Total Commander. I am an old Nico's Commander user.
I want to change the color of the dirs to see a difference between dir and file. It must be possible I think, but how.

TC 8.5

Step 1

Open the File search, alt-f7
Go to the advanced tab, tick attributes
Select directories only
Go to the Load/Save tab, save the search, say 'folders'

Step 2

Configuration, Color
Define colors by Type
Add new, Add, folders (or the name you gave it)
Pick a color, OK

Done
F4MiniMenu (Forum) - Open selected file(s) from TC in defined editor(s) - A (minimalistic) clone of F4Menu
Source at GitHub (AutoHotkey). TCSyncComments (copy file comments)
