[9.0b1x86] Vertical bar tooltips damage focused button frame

Post by *MVV »

It is easy to reproduce. Just hover top button with mouse cursor and wait for tooltip, then hover next button (where tooltip is). When you hover a button, TC draws button frame, but then tooltip disappears and leaves holes in that frame.

I can't reproduce it under Windows 7 with 64-bit TC 9.0b1, but problem exists for 32-bit TC.

I tested also with 32bit TC and can't still confirm.
No strange effects.
May be it depends on certain settings I don't have ?

Tested with clean ini, it happens with 32-bit TC and Classic theme in Windows 7. With Aero theme it's fine.

Unfortunately it is NOT happening here! I added a call to InvalidateRect for the vertical bar once the tooltip goes away, so it should redraw the bar. Can you post a screenshot of the problem, please?

I've posted a GIF video of the problem in the first post. :)
But if you can't reproduce it, perhaps some conditions are required...

Yes, but it goes away when the tooltip is hidden, right?

I'm now redrawing the previous button when the tooltip moves, which should take care of this problem.
