'DOS-commands History' with 'CTRL-E' not working

Post by *vdijken »

In earlier versions when you did CTRL-E in the command line on the bottom of the TC window, a list with prevision commands popped up. Now the commands are shown circularly one by one. Is this a change or is there a setting by which this can be restored to the old setting where all commands were shown?

Please use Help (F1) - search for: Command line: keys

It has never been like that by default, Ctrl+E has always cycled through the command history.

Use Alt+F8 of Ctrl+ArrowDown (twice) to open the list.

According to TC help file, Ctrl+E always cycled the previous commands one by one:
TC help wrote:CTRL+E Copy previous command to command line
I guess, you're looking for Alt+F8 which opens the command line, along with its history of commands.

And BTW, they're not DOS commands.

Ctrl+E works for me! Maybe some other program has registered Ctrl+E as a system-wide hotkey?

For me Ctrl+E doesn't open list, but cycling commands in command line.
