EricB wrote:Might of course be some system setting. I'm using Win10 x64 Pro (1607) and TCx32 9.0 RC1, BTW.
Now I can confirm this problem with TC9.0RC1 x86.
Lister shows maximized state in tile bar but window size is limited to about 904*1108. Position of the lister Window is Top Left of the screen.
Windows 7 x64 triple monitor setup (left to right: 1920*1200 / main display:1920*1200 / 1200*1600)
No problem TC9.0RC1 x64.

I can only confirm your findings.
Somehow Lister on 2nd screen doesn't like full size.

I will check it - does normal Lister work correctly with full screen on secondary screen?

About Aero-Snap: This doesn't work with Get/SetWindowPlacement, looks like Microsoft forgot to update these functions.

Christian,

For me normal Lister works correctly on secondary screen. It remains full screen after save position and reopening.

Would you also consider showing a different title for separate Quickview as suggested before in this thread?

Normal lister(F3) does work Ok in both version x86/x64 on all monitors.
Only the "Quick view in separate Lister (Ctrl+Shift+Q)" in x86 version is effected.

About the window position/size in x86:
- State(left from close button) is indicated as maximized
- position is the left/top position of the monitor.
- but the window size is the last non maximized size.

I will try to reproduce it. So far I couldn't find any reason for this behaviour in my code. :(

History.txt wrote:19.10.16 Fixed: Separate quick view (Ctrl+Shift+Q) would not open maximized (after being stored via menu) (32/64)
I can confirm this fix with RC2.
Thanks :-)

History.txt wrote:19.10.16 Added: Separate quick view (Ctrl+Shift+Q): Show * behind "Lister" text to distinguish the quick view window from normal Lister windows (32/64)
This one is only partial implemented.
The * is only shown by TC9.0RC2(x32) Version, not in TC9.0RC2(x64) Version.

Thanks for catching that!

Maybe you or someone else has a better idea what I could use instead of a *. I want to keep the text "Lister", though.

Fixed in TC9.0 RC3.
