Photo files opens in old Photo Viewer

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Photo files opens in old Photo Viewer. No default new application Photos.
Version 8.52a works OK.

This is a bad deal.
Confusing for users. I searched a lot of time in the registry problem.
Then I came to blame the Total Commander. This has to be the Setting - Option.

Which number line shall be given parameter to wincmd.ini :?:
ReplacePhotoApp=0

As I already said in the linked thread: It is similarly confusing for users that they can't cycle through the pictures of any directory in the Photo app while it does work from Explorer.

Menu Configuration > Change Settings Files Directly. Add the setting somewhere under the [Configuration] header/section.

Edit, it works, thank you.

The new Photos app is not a user problem. Just select the files and can view next photos ok.
Old applications eg. in a dark interface looks very bad.
Intercede on adding Setting - Option.
