Define Colors by Type in RC2

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Define Colors by Type in RC2

Post by *jberry910 »

I have lost the colors by type in RC2 for files display from a network drive. It is on both 32 and 64 bit. I checked v8.5x and it works as expected. Did I miss a change that would impact this setting?

Not confirmed here. Tested on Win7 x64 (TC 9.0a RC2) on mapped drives and on UNC paths.

I have deleted the filters in the [Colors] of the Wincmd.ini and re-defined the colors. All is back to normal now.

Before I did this I compared the [Colors] sections of the v8.5 ini file with the v9.0 file but saw no differences. Also compared after redoing. Strange, but all is OK now.

Thanks for the feedback.

Maybe the option was just not ticked (enabled) in Configuration - Options - Colors?
