History.txt typos - the most dangerous bugs

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

07.12.16 Fixed: Hide "Themed cursor" checkbox in configuration dialog on systems older than Windows XP (32/64)
Since there are no 64-bit systems below Windows XP, it should be rather (32) instead of (32/64).

Well, the code is in both, so I put 32/64 there...

"26.08.15 Release Total Commander 8.52 final (branch with just bugfixes) (32/64)"

No, they do not refer to the bugfixes before them, they are just notes to the user that there were other releases then.
Hi, I continue to not understand your reply, there are "Fixed:" lines before and after the 3 Releases 8.52 of Total Commander in the History.txt file.

We have well this empty line before the others releases.
It is the case for 9.0 and 8.51 and all the previous ones :
05.12.16 Release Total Commander 9.0a release candidate 2 (32/64)
30.11.16 Release Total Commander 9.0a release candidate 1 (32/64)
23.11.16 Release Total Commander 9.0 final (32/64)
16.11.16 Release Total Commander 9.0 release candidate 6 (RC6) (32/64)
09.11.16 Release Total Commander 9.0 release candidate 5 (RC5) (32/64)
...
05.10.16 Release Total Commander 9.0 beta 17 (32/64)
...
08.06.16 Release Total Commander 9.0 beta 1 (32/64)
and
30.04.14 Release Total Commander 8.51a final (32/64)
27.04.14 Release Total Commander 8.51a pre 1 (32/64)
23.04.14 Release Total Commander 8.51 final (32/64)
...
Best regards. Good job with 9.0 versions. Menet :P

The 8.52 versions are not part of the TC9 development branch - they were backports of some of the bugfixes made for TC 9 to the TC 8.5 branch. Therefore the fixes and additions listed below these release versions are not all part if these versions.

Hi Christian ,

Editing the HISTORY.TXT file, we found 198 times, lines with the "Release Total Commander" text, it is always to introduce a new version.
It is only for the 8.52 versions that there is not the empty space line separator. (It is also the case at the end but all the fixed-Added text lines were deleted between these old versions lines).

I was a long time running with the 8.52a version and for me it is always not clear why it is not made like for ALL the others versions, with an empty line before it. Even you said it is because 8.52 versions are not part of the TC9 development branch.

At first look, and I was not alone, I have not seen my 8.52a version. The only way to find it, was to do a search. :?

Best regards. Menet :P

I repeat that these lines are there only for reference when these versions were released - they do not delimit the fixes/additions below them.

There is a separate history file for 8.52 and 8.52a which contains the correct fixes for that version:
