Backgroung moving not finished when overwriting another file

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Backgroung moving not finished when overwriting another file

Post by *redfox »

TC 9a RC3 x32

1. Start moving larger amount of files using F6, then switch the whole operation to the background.
2. When the previous is in progress, go to another dir or partition and start copying another file (F5) to a location, where the same file exists already - the overwrite query window will pop up.
3. Wait and dont't select an action yet. Wait until the background operation [1] reaches 100%.

You'll see that the background operation [1] stays forever at 100% and does not finish = delete the files in the original location, until you select an overwrite option in the step 2 and the popup window closes.

I have checked the code: TC actively waits until the user closes the overwrite dialog box. I think that this is done to avoid some deadlock situations. So I prefer to keep it this way.
