TC9rc3: 'SONAR.AM.C!g6' malware Detected by Norton 360

The behaviour described in the bug report is either by design, or would be far too complex/time-consuming to be changed

Strange, Virustotal reports that no scanner found a virus. However, Norton isn't listed - maybe they list it under Symantec.

I recommend that you go to the quarantine section of your scanner and submit the file to them for inspection. It's most probably a false positive, but it could also have been infected on your system.

You may also verify the digital signature of the file.

Strange Behavior

I restored from quarantine and then submitted that same file to Symantec for review.

Then scanned my system again and did not find anything. Either it was cleaned when sent to quarantine or maybe just a fluke.
